Open Mic Poetry Night

We are back! Yes, that is right, Writers Bloc is coming back with another amazing open mic poetry evening in Johannesburg.

Over the years we have seen many wonderful talents walk through the door and perform their hearts and souls out, and we are excited to see that again. We have missed having our nights and we are glad that we will be sharing a listening to some poetry again with you.

With our new mission at Writers Bloc to raise funds to publish peoples work, the next few nights will be dedicated to our late Writers Bloc poet, Sasha Deysel.

She was an incredible poet with a beautiful heart and many stories to share in her work. We are honoured to be able to publish her work and get it out there for many to read.

We invite you on our journey to come and join us in a beautiful poetry night in Melville on the 29 May 2022 at no other than Love Me So.
